About the Instructor
Kristin Penuel is a Licensed Professional Counselor and board certified counselor (NCC) in Trussville, Alabama, just outside of Birmingham. She has degrees in psychology, curriculum and instruction, and marriage and family counseling from Regent University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Kristin has a full therapy practice where she works with couples daily to help them reconnect, heal hurts, and create the marriage they want. She has had success with countless couples in the therapy office and hopes to share her research-based knowledge and strategies with any couple who needs it.
In the spring of 2025, Kristin started hosting communication in marriage workshops for the couples on her waitlist. After two full workshops, she realized the need was great, so that's what led to creating this more comprehensive online version that people can access anytime, anywhere.
